Episode 16 to 18

Episode 16. Fina confirms that Christy is not her daughter Joy after going through another DNA test. With this, the NBI asks Juris for a neutral DNA testing for Leyna. Lolita helps Greco with an entrapment operation of Lucio’s syndicate, but it fails because Lucio discovers their connivance. Being under pressure with everything going on, Gaylord opens up to Steve how he and his friends got into the big mess they are in. Elsewhere, Dolores gets a lead on her daughter’s whereabouts.

Episode 17. Dolores confirms that Juris is her long-lost daughter. She tries to make amends, but Juris adamantly refuses to forgive her. This leads Dolores into a dilemma on whether to continue helping Fina. Soon, a new witness who may shed light on Barbara Villanueva’s murderer, and may, in turn, lead Fina to her missing daughter, approaches Dolores. Fina tearfully parts with Christy, who is taken by social services despite her pleas to take custody of the child. Wanting to save Lolita and her children, Greco pressures his informant to find strong evidence against Lucio, which costs the informant his life.

Episode 18. After hearing Gaston Esporlas’ claims regarding Barbara Villanueva’s involvement in the child trafficking syndicate, Dolores chooses to protect Juris and withhold the information from Fina. On the other hand, Fina reaches out to Congressman Verzosa, a politician out to expose Drei’s corruption as mayor. Just when Gaylord gets promoted as city fiscal, he gets into a mess with Lucio, who threatens to expose the CCTV footage on the night of Bogs’ murder. Meanwhile, Greco resorts to desperate measures in order to rescue Lolita.
