Episode 1 - The Film Club President

In EPISODE 1, we will be introduced to Manila International School, its prestige and affluence, and the chaotic energy its student population has. For this school year, all classes are now online due to the pandemic. From there, we will then focus on the Film Circle Crew and its members, particularly on its club president, DIVINE, who has brought negative attention to this previously unnoticed organization. Divine’s documentary videos wherein she constantly scrutinizes the norms of MIS, as well as trying to expose the scandals plaguing the school has placed a target on her back. Ironic, as her affluent family is one of Manila International’s founders. The club members – JAMES, ANNA, and MATTHEW – have their own opinions about Divine and whether her leadership is beneficial or a liability to the club. Motivated by his secret love for Divine, James constantly defends her. Divine’s disappearance from the first week of their online class triggers a whirlwind of speculation as to why she is missing and her whereabouts. But a mysterious video, sent to the Film Circle Crew, of Divine attending a secret party during the quarantine, fuels James’s fear that there is something more to Divine’s continued absence. James starts to investigate what really happened to Divine with the hope of finding and reuniting with her. Together with Matthew and Anna, they try to find out the identities of Divine’s companions in the video.
