When a design enthusiast meets an advanced sommelier in the City of Lights. Stephanie Kienle-Gonzales flies in from Manila, while Jhonel Faelnar flies in from New York. They meet in Paris at the height of autumn and here they begin their 9 day food and wine adventure. On Day 1, it’s down memory lane as Steph takes Jhonel to her old neighbourhood for some French bistro classics. Then they get to know the Alain Ducasse brand a little more as they sample artisanal coffee and chocolates. Next is Modern French at Le Servan where the half-Filipina, half-French Lehva sisters are cooking up wonderful fusion cuisine. After 24 hours in Paris, Steph and Jhonel make their way to the region Champagne for everyone’s favourite bubbly.
