Ballet Philippines revives the timeless tale of love and adventure set to Igor Stravinsky’s enchanting and groundbreaking musical score. Choreographer George Birkadze brings a fresh approach to the musical Firebird, reimagining the Russian folk tale into a Philippine setting, with new costumes by Mark Lewis Higgins.

New interpretations of two Stravinsky classics created for the legendary Ballets Russes. The Firebird centers on the journey of its hero, Prince Ivan, who comes across the magical bird when he strays into the realm of Koschei the Immortal.
