Lyric and Beat (Cinema Cut)

PART 1: To chase her dream of becoming a singer, Lyric earns her place in the prestigious PNCM and joins the underdog show choir Werpa with her friend, Beat. Soon, a member of Werpa’s rival team asks to become part of the group, much to everyone’s surprise.

PART 2: Lyric defies Jeff’s wishes and pursues a meeting with her mother’s former manager. With Lyric missing and the showdown with the Prime Belters approaching, Werpa falls into chaos. Later, the young singers face a new threat in the form of Modern Pop.

The story is set at the backdrop of Philippine National Conservatory of Music where the best and misfit students are pitted against each other for the right to represent the school in the prestigious National Music Competition.
