Synopsis
Cora de la Cruz, a Filipino nurse, dreams of moving to America. When her brother is killed, her ideas change.
A young nurse questions her planned emigration to the United States, and her country’s post-colonial conditions, following her brother’s fatal shooting by an American soldier from the nearby military base.
