Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) conductor laureate Prof. Oscar C. Yatco leads the PPO in “Picturesque Philippines: Mostly Music before World War II” on Feb 4, 8 PM at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo. The concert, which is the PPO’s sixth of the 2005 performing season, features soprano Joan Cano and pianist Reynaldo Reyes in a program featuring pre-war Philippine music.
