The Mentor

An Indie Film By Juan Caparas, “The Mentor” takes place a year after the events of Revelation. The Mentor primarily focuses on self improvement and growth by teaching and sharpening yourself as a person. The film is solely based on my personal life and struggles, similar to how Revelation was.

If you are a shallow minded, impatient, and ignorant person The Mentor is NOT for you. The values of this film can only be understood and absorbed by a well understanding and patient mind. You’ll see what I mean.

The Mentor is primarily focused on improving yourself as a human being, as a result the new Freakshow VII is a lot more human than ever before. In The Mentor, you see me realize my flaws as a person and I teach myself to be mentally strong and capable. I went through a stage of positive change and enlightenment of oneself. At the same time, Freakshow VI evolved into a more superior form metaphorically relating to my personal stage of enlightenment and growth , Freakshow VII. The film itself focuses on these main themes; loving yourself, knowing and improving your strengths, remembering your roots, changing for the good, and the value of freedom.
