Synopsis

STATUS: Season 1 Finale Episode 6 (Complete)

Season 1: The series centres around crime syndicates that temporarily release contracted prison inmates to carry out political assassinations for those in power, except that the crime syndicates are run by politicians. The series also puts a spotlight on the real-world predicament concerning fake news and how easily truth can be manufactured and disseminated to the public in today’s age of information.

Inspired by a real-life scandal in which prison inmates are temporarily released from prison to work as contract killers on behalf of politicians and high ranking military officials.

Season 2 (The Missing 8): This sequel to On the Job (2013) focuses on corruption and media censorship now that a new strongman, Duterte, is in power in the Philippines.

    Sir Benj, ICYMI. Ito na po yung OTJ: Missing 8. Yung first 2 episodes ng series na’to is yung recap ng unang movie from 2013 starring Gerald Anderson and Joel Torre. Yung episode 3 – 6 naman yung second movie na Missing 8 hinati lang sa apat na episodes. Wala na pong announced na Season 2 as of the moment.
